At least two were still present in the brushy depression just north of the
intersection of Mitchell and Spring Rds today around 2 PM. This location is
just slightly SSW of the ball fields west of Flying Cloud Airport, where this
pair has been regular this summer.

Kyle Te Poel's posting about a small group of fall migrant warblers
spurred me to post the adult female Golden-winged Warbler that we banded
Sunday morning (8/5/18) at Springbrook Nature Center.
Springbrook NC is in extreme southern Anoka County, on the north edge of
Fridley, near the
Had my first migrant wave of the "fall" come through the yard this morning.
Upon noticing it, I ran into the house to get my binoculars, and of course
upon returning to the spot some of the birds were no longer detected. I did
end up spotting a couple warblers (Nashville, Ovenbird), and 2 empid.
