Try it with the same configuration and IE 5.x. If that works, it is a
Netscape issue. If not, it is probably OS related.
Can you replicate the problem on other computers with NC 4.75?

When I launch PDF documents from Netscape, both my browser

appears to occur more frequently with larger PDF file
