No, we were not referring to the logo. Haven't you used tabs?

Unless there is an onChange event fired when the content of the

won't implement this feature unless said onChange event exists, and

Yes, that's the one.

What is that you find so annoying about the spinning arrow?
Personally, I find it annoying to read while there is motion closeby.
But that may just be me. I also get annoyed by Windows flashing
the taskbar icon when an IE page has fully loaded so I click on
it and go back to the window I was

Ah right. I can relate to that. Although the spining arrow doesn't
bother me I can't use 60Hz monitors as they appear to be flashing like a

The point I was making is that things affect people
differently.
Perhaps my suggestion should be filed as another bug, since
it differs from Garth's? Bold for loaded but unread is imho
something that people intuitively understand.
By spinning arrow, do you mean the icon in the right end of the browser's
toolbar? I have an M which turns into a dinosaur's head.

I have to say that I also like the spinny arrow.

whose contents have changed since being last viewed (that is, the tab

Sounds good to me. But I'd only do one bug - bold for tabs
not-yet-viewed. Because what would you underline? What does partly
read mean when talking about a Navigator tab?

Hmm...I'm having a hard time explaining what I mean. A tab would be
partly read if it was viewed when
