Anyone know of a place to buy fishing bait (crawlers, leaches, minnows)
within Minneapolis? Close to Minneapolis? There was a bait store on
Lake Street -- it has closed. At one time there was bait shop just
outside of Mpls. on 66th Street in Richfield. But now I don't know
where there is
The Bryn Mawr store on Penn, maybe two-three blocks north of 394 sells bait,
from what my brother tells me.

Marjorie,
The only bait shop on the south side--that I know of, anyway--is located at
(the old) Cedar Avenue and Old Shakopee Road. That is a block or so west of
the Old Shakopee exit on Hwy 77 (Cedar), first exit south of the Mall of
America.

I remember seeing fishing bait for sale at the SuperAmerica station on
Cedar, just north of the bridge across the lake the fishing porches off
that bridge.
But it's been a few years since I've been a regular customer there; I don't
know if they still sell bait.
