Ha, ok. I was thinking that he wants to implement something like old Norton
Commander.
By the way, Midnight Commandor is a very good clone (akaik, done with fpc+LCL)
of Norton Commander.

Sadly, they choose a "Big" widget-set (LCL --> Gnome) so you may not use it in
a "Pure X" environnement.
A Midnight Commander done with MSEgui or fpGUI would be much more universal.

Hello.

The "Target Console" in MSEide, with a system font looks like a Unix-terminal
in text mode (see attachment).

Hi,

Please register again on mseide-msegui-talk.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/mseide-msegui/lists/mseide-msegui-talk

Sourceforge removed all accounts of users who didn't answer the confirmation
mails they sent recently. Also the admin access to the receiver list has been
blocked so I can't check it.

Yes, or use an existing textmode library.
I don't think that MSEgui should be used as base for a textmode backend. An
independent solution which solely uses the MSEide form-designer is more
appropriate IMO.

In MSEide activate 'Project'-'Options'-'Debugger'-External Console' in order
to show a Windows console window or a Linux xterm.
