Hi
Just browsing through the ASCII webpages with elingo and found this:
(Search for MSX:

I think it too. But Brasilian developper (Ademir Charcano) don't have
time to it. For example: I was trying to contact with Ademir to bougth
some
of his hardware and to ask to him about his prices in Euros and I never
seen
a reply of him :(.
That's the problem.
I think it is great that
I would really like to have that book. Sames goes for the Turbo-R.
If anyone has it as a PDF file...
Thanks anyway,

How about the sound-quality? Is still as normal I guess, while running on
6MHz?
As far I know, the sound quality is like on 3.5 MHz. It seem that the
engine of this computer speed down the CPU when use the bus for avoid
problem with slow devices. I don´t have this computer and I can´t do

Hi,
For those of you who know sourceforge: I just started a new project there,
called `the MSX Z80 assembler'. It is an opensource initiative to make a
cross assembler with the MSX as target platform. Currently it is written
in C, POSIX compiant I hope.
I still need 2 things to be done though.
And if the 2-computer case is very important, you can always make a single
cable connecting 2 nodes. But it won't work for larger networks and it
isn't
really JoyNet, just partly compatible. I think Laurens even has the
schematic
for the 2-computer cable on his JoyNet page.
Yes, it's there.

I do have ideas on how to implement a bidirectional
peer-to-peer link using JoyNet (=2 computers only).
Let's hear it! Supporting more than 2 nodes is a matter of routing, and it
can be solved in a higher layer.
Not with JoyNet. With more than 2 computers, the databits arrive at a

For Linux, the best solution would be to write a serial driver for JoyNet.
Then pppd can be used to connect to UZIX and you can use the existing PPP
network device.
You can also make a user-mode solution, that sends stdin over JoyNet and
sends JoyNet input to stdout. That program can then

Hehe, I'm a TNI member too, but I didn't know about it :P Anyway, I'll
check it out.
I did announce it here on the list, so you shouldn't have missed it.

Try "[EMAIL PROTECTED]".
file-hunter.com is indeed gone, it's WWW doesn't work anymore either.
