eZ80 main target group is the embedded software. For such appliances
(microwaves, laundry machines, cars, smartcards, etc), having
a TCP/IP stack in hardware can be very interesting...
It can make the OS more lean and mean
which is very important for embedded software.

Internet-Ready. A complete TCP/IP stack is also offered so customers can
design products that connect to the Internet.
I think Zilog means they offer sourcecode of a TCP/IP stack, it seems
a bit illogical to hardcode that in a CPU since it should be at OS
level.

would it be possible to use the new Z80 (the eZ80, by Zilog) for MSX?
According to Zilog the eZ80 is 4 times faster than a 'normal' Z80.
According to Zilog, the specifications are still under construction,
and they specifically warn that product deliverability may be a problem.

MMSX, MSX380, ACE00x ...
No just kidding, I'm certainly not intending to design a NGMSX.
Ok /me sits back, relaxed ;-)
I'm just curious. BTW, Zilog says on http://www.zilog.com
the eZ80 will be 100% compatible with the Z80.

If eZ80 is fully compatible with Z80,
Buy the way, do you know what means ACE? Ademir Carchano Extended. :)
Wasn't that meant to be a secret? :)))
