Still no good crack of Penguin Adventure! (and: test!)
Hi I still don't have a good crack of Penguin Adventure that runs in DOS2. I also still have no good crack of Firebird, that runs without slow-downs. Can anyone get me those? 512kB RAM demand is no problem. This mail is also a test if it is posted to the newsgroup... :-) By the way, I do have a nice Space Manbow crack now. It runs on 128k (without sound), 256k (with loading) and 512k (no loading!). I adapted the loader so that it works with SCC in any slot (with Jasper Lautenbags cool routine ofcourse!). I will put it online a.s.a.p. Grtjs, Manuel ((m)ICQ UIN 41947405) PS: MSX 4 EVER! (Questions? See: http://www.faq.msxnet.org/) PPS: Visit my home page at http://bilderbeek.tsx.org/ MSX Mailinglist. PMA
Howdy, does anyone have info on the PMA file format? (Couldn't find anything in the Ultimate FAQ nor MiLC) What I'm _really_ after is a Linux util to decompress PMA's. Yes, of course I can start fMSX and run PMEXT in it, but NO I don't want to start a f*** emu just for extracting some PMA file :-/ (really nasty: in Linux, start dosemu and let _that_ run 22NICE/PMEXT :-P - Nah...) Yeah! But, without kidding (zonder dollen), Alwin Henseler made a PMA extractor for MSX, so he has found out how the format is. He included the source file, so I guess you can find out the formats from it. Alwin's page (MSX Tech Doc page), can be found in my bookmarks. Look on the page's software section and there you can download UNPMA.ARJ. Ciao, +-- Eric Boon ---+ | this signature was | | intentionally left blank | ++ MSX Mailinglist. Re: RAM cartridge capabilities
-Original Message- From: MkII [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: dinsdag 2 november 1999 7:03 Subject: RAM cartridge capabilities I've got a 1M RAM cartridge that I'd like to use as a RAM disk. I've tried trusty Leonid Baraz's RDV but it only recognizes 256K. Have you tried DOS2's ramdisk commands? If the MSX recognises the 1MB ram than you must be able to create a ramdisk in your cartridge without doing difficult. Grtz, Siebe. MSX Mailinglist. You could try to search for the Linux equivalent of 22nice. I suppose that there must be some commandline based CP/M emulator for Linux out tjhere. Just try the good old ftp archives like funet or oakland.
