Another event...
Hi, There seems to be another MSX event in Japan, besides MSX Den Yu Land. It is called MSX Assembly in Nagoya '00 See http://www2s.biglobe.ne.jp/~emu/main/ Is anyone going? (Or is this too optimistic?) I will not go: too far away from here (so, too expensive) even from this place here in Japan. By the way, I found this URL on the Den-Yu Land page... Re: Sunrise's IDE Question
Hello, START.COM doesn't work very well, and HDDEMU only runs on MSXturboR. It would be nice if someone write a FDD emulator as good as MegaSCSI one is. Quite agree. If you only have START.COM, you probably can run SD-SNATCHER and few other games. I forgot HDDEMU was turboR only. I think a good FDD_emulator is an essential. Greetz, Sander MSX Mailinglist. What do YOU think, should a new MSX be developed? Deliberately yes, but who will pay a billion yen to build new MSX? Re-releasing the turboR could be a possible first step. After all, development costs for it have already been made. I know a lot of people here in the Netherlands who are sorry they didn't buy a turboR when they were still for sale (I'm one of them). Of course making the release of a new or a not-so-new MSX a success will be a big marketing effort. One thing that caught our attention and raised hopes though, was the fact that ASCII is still sponsoring Denyu-land and even Kay Nishi himself will speak on that fair. yamaha CX5M II 128 MSX music computer
Can someone help this guy ? -- Forwarded message -- Date: Mon, 17 Jul 2000 21:25:37 -0400 From: WARREN SEAN FITZGERALD [EMAIL PROTECTED] Dear Mr. Bittencourt: I own a Yamaha CX5M II 128 MSX music computer. The power supply needs to be replaced. I also have another similar machine, an earlier model, with a good power supply and a bad keyboard. I would like to switch power supplies, but I cannot find support for these machines any where in the United States. These computers are very unique--a Music Macro Language and a selfcontained DX=ll sound module/MIDI interface. I don't think Yamaha supports this machine anymore, at least not in the U.S.A.. I would greatly appreciate any help or contacts you could provide. My addres is: Warren FitzGerald, 4314 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19104, U.S.A..
