RE: tniASM v0.2 MSX Fair Bussum Edition released!
Hi Patriek, I knew i had forgotten to mention the TNI stand after I pressed send on my impression mail.. Sorry, the tniASM is a development worth mentioning. Hans -Original Message- From: Patriek Lesparre [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 17 September 2000 04:48 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; ag0ny Subject: tniASM v0.2 MSX Fair Bussum Edition released! Hi all! The TNI Homepage (http://www.tni.nl ) was updated with mention of the new version of tniASM (http://tniasm.tni.nl ), v0.2 MSX Fair Bussum Edition! I just got back from the MSX Fair/Marathon at Bussum and although there weren't that many visitors (only 101 I believe) it was still a great event. Anyway, new in tniASM v0.2 is: - Conditional assembly - Practically unlimited label length - Octal numeric constants - Multi CPU support (added GBZ80 (gameboy CPU)) - Uninitialised data declarations Go get it! ;) Patriek Problems? contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] See also http://www.faq.msxnet.org/ Problems? contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] See also http://www.faq.msxnet.org/
Turbo R GT problems
Hi everybody, on the Bussum-fair it appeared that my game (Bomberman) doesn't work on a Turbo R GT. It does work on a ST so I don't know what the problem is. Also, the game only works when I start it directly in DOS, not when I go to BASIC, then to DOS and start the game. I am not doing anything really fancy so I don't know why the game doesn't work in these situations. Any help is appreciated! Hans Otten wrote: I knew i had forgotten to mention the TNI stand after I pressed send on my impression mail.. Sorry, the tniASM is a development worth mentioning. No probs :) There were a grand total of 3 people who got tniASM at the fair. And a few more who wanted it, but didn't have an empty diskette with them. Maybe it was because I put the sign up only a few hours after the fair started so many may have missed it. Oh, and d-fader (teddywarez) came to me saying (he was actually pretty loud hehehe) it was cool, but he wouldn't use it until it had macro support. Heh... I hope to have that done by next version. Anyway, I'd love to hear from tniASM users and their projects! Greetz, Patriek Problems? contact [EMAIL PROTECTED] See also http://www.faq.msxnet.org/
Re: Turbo R GT problems
] Hi everybody, ] ] I am not doing anything really fancy so I don't know why the game doesn't ] work in these situations. Any help is appreciated! Do you use _MUSIC to initialize the fm-music? If you do that, you also start the MIDI interrupt on the GT. Which will hang your machine if you start using your own interrupt driver without checking the MIDI status ports. It is OK to use _MUSIC on the GT but if you do so, you must make sure that the standard interrupt handler does not get disabled. Em qua, 13 set 2000, Jon De Schrijder escreveu: The good news: the new IDEFDISK 3.1 program is completely finished; the TurboR bootproblem with the new type of bootsector was fixed. Now you can add/kill variable-sized partitions like you wish, even FAT16 partitions. Works great with the newest IDE bios 2.01 and Okei's FAT16 driver. I will take the programs with me to Bussum, but probably it will also be available at Sunrise. Cool! Any news about the FAT 16 SCSI driver? byE! -- Ricardo Jurczyk Pinheiro - M. Sc. I never saw it and I've been there the whole day! (10:30am 'til 4:50am) Hehhe, I had since 2 months the opportunity to see the PS2... here in Japan! Quite cool machine... I also saw Final Fantasy 9 (PSone, nice game, but a little easy I hear) and Dragon Quest 7 (PSone, good game, but graphics and music are not as good as FF9...). Cool: on the Japanese tv commercial of FF9, they show images of the older FFs, but it goes too fast to see if they show the MSX version of FF1... Wah, this is old news anyway. Everyone finished FF9 here by now! ;-) Anyway, I am still hoping someone volunteers to write a full report about Bussum 2000 for MCCW!
