I agree that the use case is very small - once per character per player
on some MUDs, on the other hand it is one that a new user is very likely
to encounter the first time they try to use Mudlet - so it could
disproportionally weight more heavily on a user friendliness evaluation.

their research and decide (quite rightly 8-) ) that Mudlet is the way to
go. S, they click on the Connect button and see a range of MUDs
just there waiting to play - or maybe they already know the MUD that

This seems to me yo be the same as if you're trying to login to a website
using your usual email/password when you haven't registered yet. Neither
would work and both seem to be very, very small use cases. Convince me that
enough people are having this problem?
