I would like to be able to invoke a process to delete multiple incoming
posts based on either the sender or subject. I see something in the
documentation about ^T and ~e but neither seem to be operable with my
current setup
What do I have to do to have such a feature functional?

FYI: CDE's Terminal does color. As soon as my DSL is connected at
home I will be installing stuff such as GNOME, but until then Terminal
works fine. Of course I need to know how to make the cursor not blink
by default... :)

I use Maildrop instead of Procmail. I find it a bit lighter,
perhaps not as powerful, but it sets up easily and the
filtering works well.

Is there really no way to do it it with mutt alone? It's a major
pain for me to install and configure procmail+fetchmail on all our
unix machines just to be able to read mail.

I have a single mail account where I get several kinds of mails.
Some are from mailing lists, some are company internal and some
are from various services on our server which I administrate.
Since the server generates a lot of useless mails I'd like to
redirect these to a different mailbox as soon

Use this one
color body magenta black "[-a-z_0-9.+]+@[-a-z_0-9.]+"

By Outlook. No sensible MTA would do this.

I received an attachment today, kindly split (by Outlook? or a
friendly MTA?) into 18 separate pieces.
Yes, I can emacs them all together, cutting out intervening headers,
rearranging the order, etc. But I'd very much like to find a better
way. Google has not helped except to say this has come up
Suresh: thanks, vt100 seems to work the best. I haven't figured out
how to get color out of an xterm under Solaris anyway, so the black
and white means to loss of quality.
