Hey, that's nice. BTW, you should check out fcc-save-hook and perhaps

How do I get mutt to thread my email?
I have set sort=threads
in my Muttrc but it is not working.
I could sort by subject which may
be what I need to do but I wanted
to get threading similar to a newsgroup
reader.

I've written a little program to make using mutt and procmail together
slightly happier... it's a filter like mail2muttalias.py but it
generates procmail recipies. Please try it and tell me what you think.
(I'm not on the mutt-users ml atm so Cc: me too)

that seems a little harsh i'm sure there are many who would tell
those of us who use mutt to use a 'real mail program'. there's nothing
wrong with using mailx or other command line clients.

Is there any documentation on adding config info to the .muttrc for
the VVV NNTP patch and also how to use mutt as a news reader? I
trolled through the archives this morning and didn't find anything.
Thanks,

In general, after applying patches, you should do make clean before
recompiling. See if that helps.

I went ahead and did this. No problems getting mutt to run...as long
as I don't try to run it as 'mutt -g news_server'. If I

Hi!
Since I upgraded to 1.3.20i I've got 2 problem with charsets.
The first one is that if the charset isn't specified in the Content-Type of
a mail, mutt seems to always use us-ascii, although I've set the config
variable charset to iso-8859-1. Is that the normal behaviour now?
If so, what do
