I fell in love with Emacs and wanted to know how to better use Emacs Mutt together. Is there any virtue in running Mutt from within Emacs? What is the best way to do this I tried M-x shell and launching Mutt from a shell in Emacs but that was all messed up. Any suggestions? Thanks in

One more advice to Chris: There's something else I needed to set in ~/.muttrc: set ascii_chars # use ASCII instead of ACS chars for threads Perhaps your Emacs font includes ACS (= DEC?) pseudo-graphic characters. In this case, you might not need to do it. Cheers, Cristian -- }{
