As I'm sure many of you do, I archive various mailing lists into maildir format
directories ("folders").
Within a folder, sometimes I would like to be able to print out
selected messages, but using the capablility of enscript
to print multiple files on a single page, using its "--nup" option.

For a print_command, I use the following:
set print_command=\
"enscript ... --header='%D{%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%S %Z}|mutt output|%D{%Ux7+%w=4+%j} $%'
~/Out-mutt.ps"
The various % expandos are expanded by enscript to give all the temporal
minutiae I like. (The ellided ... were the pagelayout
