I've encountered this as well (MLO 4.3.3 on Windows 7) and Ctrl-V does not paste text into a New Task's title. Very frustrating. I had just opened MLO to add this task, so rather expected it to work. I had switched Views to get to my Inbox -- that is all. Nevertheless I quit and re-opened MLO

Thanks for this. I figure it out last night. Was missing the key phrase "input parsing" on my searches regarding this. Then I googled "add date and time" in Todoist.and found the "input parsing" write up. Googled input parsing for Mylifeorganized and finally saw the entry in the help file.
