Other times, if enough people need a feature it gets added in, or someone
else points out why the feature wouldn't work well in MLO. But it doesn't
hurt to ask :)

No, there isn't a way to create advanced filters on Android. But that
doesn't make advanced filters useless. What I do is have some of my
workflow on Android, and my more advanced workflow on windows. I do my
heavy planning and reorganization on the desktop, and I've found a model
that works for

but:
1) it's bit complicated and all my 'organized' tasks would look messy
2) there's no way to keep created advanced filter on e.g. android device,

can be found in the advanced section of the view definition, so you will
probably have the best chance of success if you try to build your solution

BOC: I'm not sure if this is what you were looking for, but in the advanced
filter for Context there are two versions of contains - one considers all
contexts and the other considers only open contexts.
