The problem with that, I think, is syncing with mobile devices. It would
add complexity (for the developer) if each mobile version gets to name it's
own inbox, and the sync software would have to translate on the way out and
then back in. For example, on Android if I create a task in "My_Inbox" and

have an option somewhere to enable or not a global inbox and to choose its
name.
