Re: [MLO] Re: We've invited more testers to the MLO-Beta team to test MLO-Android v2
Dear Dwight Arthur, Please share the JIRA url to raise the issue Regards, Ashref Punnoli On Friday, August 14, 2015 at 7:27:53 PM UTC+3, Dwight Arthur wrote: Hi, Ashref, and welcome to the beta. I'm one of the beta moderators; not part of the MLO organization but a tester like you are. About the calendar view, there have been a lot of features added during the beta testing so far. Since calendar view was discussed so widely, I would assume that it's still in alpha testing by the developers and not yet ready for beta. You have the right, if you think it's appropriate, to create a JIRA issue calling for the release of this feature. To do that, you would start a separate thread in this forum called something like calendar view is missing. Separate thread because posts like this one, at the end of some thread that's on a different topic (welcoming testers) are usually overlooked. In this thread post a description of the issue as you see it. Leave it for long enough for discussion to develop (up to about a week). Maybe someone will post something that changes your mind. If you still want to create the issue follow the instructions Andrey gave you for creating a JIRA issue. This does not guarantee that the view will be released but it's your best way of getting your concern noticed. There are no beta test scripts. There may be alpha test scripts but they haven't been shared with beta testers. The best thing you can do is to install the beta and use it for your daily task management. You should also see if any of the new features look useful to you and if so, try to incorporate them into your daily routine. -Dwight MLO Betazoid on Windows, Cloud and Android SGN2 On 8/14/2015 8:29 AM, Ashref Punnoli wrote: Hi Andrey, It is very sad to see the features like calendar view are not part of this beta. [MLO] Restore default views?
I accidentally made some view changes and can't figure out how to get it back. Is there a way to restore back to the original default views? [MLO] Re: MLO'ers - Looking for volunteers
Well, we did it and, even if I say so myself, it went very well. It was just a test but Adam and I both really enjoyed talking about MLO face to face with another user. We came to the same conclusions that the Blab platform would be great for chatting about MLO in addition to this forum. However, we both agreed that the very best next step would be to get Andrey involved in either an interview and/or a general chat with users. In case he thinks this would be intimidating I have to tell you (and him) that we spent most of the time talking about just how wonderful MLO was and how we wished he was there so we could tell him personally. What do you all think? Would you participate if we arranged something? On Thursday, 27 August 2015 14:17:25 UTC+1, pottster wrote: Whoops sorry, tomorrow is, of course Friday 28th August! There isn't a unique URL you just go to https://blab.im/index and it will be one of the listed broadcasts titled Test Discussion run by Ken Warren. All are welcome; you can participate or just watch. It's only a test but it might be something which we can use to discuss MLO in the future. On Wednesday, 26 August 2015 22:42:31 UTC+1, pottster wrote: One volunteer so far (thanks Adam). It's basically like a series of public Google Hangouts sessions but what makes it different is: - - they have absolutely nailed it technically (unlike Google Hangouts) - they have the format just right - it's very easy for newcomers It's early days but it has a lot of potential. Have a look yourself https://blab.im The reason for my request is twofold; firstly, I wanted to host my own Blab to test it out technically, and secondly, I thought it would be fun to chat with people who use MLO. *WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW* - the chats are public, so anyone can watch and listen - the chats can be recorded although I will not be recording this one as it's just a test *WHAT YOU NEED* - same set up as for Skype video calling i.e. reasonable webcam/mic/speakers/headset - having said that a lot of people are using smartphones successfully - reasonable internet connection - willingness to discuss anything MLO (hopefully that's a given) and try something new If you want to look at a Blab I was just viewing which may be relevant and interesting to MLO users look here: - Productivity Blab https://goo.gl/udsgt8 (I contributed a few comments under the handle pottyschap) If you're interested in participating, message me privately. Any questions/comments reply normally. No disclaimer required - I'm nothing to do with the site, just wanted to try it out! Thanks guys. Re: [MLO] Restore default views?
Hi, Pat. I don't like this answer that much but I think it will work so you might want to try it. 1. Make sure that your profile has been recently synched to some other device by either cloud or wifi. 2. Create a new blank profile. 3. Synch it with the cloud or wifi copy from step one This will create a profile with your current tasks and the default views. -Dwight Mlo betazoid on Android sgn2 On Aug 28, 2015, Pat K. pkel...@gmail.com wrote: I accidentally made some view changes and can't figure out how to get it back.
