I'm not a coder, but this looks more like a make error
than a configure error. Did you do something like
--enable-directx when you did ./configure? It's
trying to compile for a windows system (DirectX
audio). I don't think you want to do that for a SuSE
9.2 system.
Good luck!

For the curious: I've attached a simple script which
can be used to write pvr-x50 generated .nuv files to
DVD. (Use at your own risk.) It uses ProjectX
through its command-line interface to demultiplex the
audio and video. Then it recombines using mplex and
authors using dvdauthor. It finally

So, as suggested by Nick in this thread, I tried
Project X. I just
opened the video and demux'ed with default settings.
It threw away a
ton of broken video (11.278 seconds total! Started
at 2:05:55.422 and
ended at 2:05:44.144).

I've spent a *lot* of time on this problem and can't

I'm a bit of a rookie myself, but for starters I
wonder if you have qt installed (development
libraries).
For the X11 stuff, my mythbox has path
/usr/include/X11/ for the X headers and that works for
me. You might try putting a symbolic link in
/usr/include/ that points to your library directory
Try these:

http://ivtv.writeme.ch/tiki-index.php?page=TvOutHowto
both found easily by Googling. I used the first one
as a guide when I did it, and it worked great.

A couple things.
First, if you compile mythtv with the standard
settings, you need to use lirc through irxevent and
irexec in the ~/.lircrc or ~/.mythtv/lircrc config
file. This, I have not done and don't exactly know
how to do. Instead, for Myth 0.17, the following

I am also using lirc 0.7.0 (with a PVR 350 using myth

Since:
1) You apparently are compiling and running lirc just

correct output from irw when you use the remote.

I can't post a sample but what I can tell you is the
basic encoder/decoder combination is fantastic at the
default 4500kb/s, max 6000kb/s (around 2.1G/hr). On
mine, though, the TV tuner had noticeable echoes, and
the s-video to composite adapter that came with it was
a POS. So I replaced it with
I don't know if you are having the same problem, but a

I fixed it by running the command mysqlcheck -r -u

Is it possible to use mplayer/xine to playback
non-mpeg2 material to the PVR-350 TV-OUT? I would
have thought my system would have sufficient CPU
grunt to do so.
I'm not the expert, but it's been my understanding
that the bandwidth of the PVR 350's framebuffer isn't
high enough to do video
change the setting
back to the tuner.
It does seem strange, though, that you have to reset
the card settings to change the input source on the
PVR 350.

MythTV keeps changing the input source to the tuner

The backend is set up to take input from the S-Video

A few people (including myself, since a few days after
the release of 0.17) have noticed audio device errors
