Estou começando no mundo do nagios e estou tentando instalar o nagios
com mysql (NDO-Utils);
Utilizo Opensuse 11.1.

O ndoutils tem como objetivo a gravação dos dados do nagios, incluindo de
performance, no Banco de Dados. Não tem o objetivo de facilitar a
configuração dos objetos do Nagios. Para este, use o NagiosQL.
Quanto ao erro que voce mencionou, só consigo imaginar que é erro na
configuracao
O Nagios e o MySQL estão na mesma máquina?
Já tentou se logar manualmente no MySQL utilizando essa conta, criar e
remover uma tabela/dados ?

Tenho o Nagios 3 instalado na empresa e funciona tudo direitinho.
A empresa é um banco grande do país, com aproximadamente 150.000 hosts, fora os
ativos de rede.
Impantei o Nagios aqui e mexi bastante até deixar redondinho.

Yep, this was a doofus question. A little more digging turned up that the
interval_length had been changed. I adjusted my check_interval to
accommodate and I now have 5-minute intervals...
