We have two MPLS circuits malfunctioning, one from DE to NJ, and another from
DE to CA. Both are showing high latency and packet loss. Curious to hear if
anyone else is having issues.
Thanks

Hi David - We use DynDNS at my company, and we're very happy with it. I've
also used DNSMadeEasy at previous companies and found them to be rock solid and
very affordable. I think about two years or so ago, they survived a full on
botnet DDoS attack with no service outage - which my monitoring
Sorry for the slightly off-topic question, but I'm hitting a brick
wall of marketing, SEO planted, fake reviews. If anyone has any real
experience with them, good, bad or bland, I'd would greatly appreciate
your input off-list.

Has anyone on Nanog had any hands on experience with the lower end of the
new SRX series Junipers? We're looking to purchase two new firewalls, and
I'm debating going with SSG series or to make the jump to the SRX line. Any
input, especially about the learning curve jumping from ScreenOS to JunOS
In our case I believe we would be dealing with just static routes and a

usage in your scenario, or is it also just simple routing as well?

I'd second this. RT is a really nice ticketing system with great email
capabilities. Use nagios to send an email to an address you have RT
configured to receive, and you can even pipe that email address directly
into a specific ticket queue within RT.

Thanks for your input on this. My main concern is mail filters at the
end users side thinking that our mail servers are spoofing our
customer's domain. I'll check into MAAWG as well

I'm wondering if a few DNS experts out there could give me some input on

There appears to be a Comcast outage in central NJ, more specifically in

I've used phpchain in the past. It's a freeware you can get off of
sourceforge. It runs on a PHP server and stores the passwords per user,
blowfish encrypted. It hasn't been updated in a while, but I found it
simple, rather helpful, and easy to install and manage.

Yes my experience was the same on with Manage Engine. Although, they do have
an article buried in their archives that shows how to tweak the mysql and java
memory settings on start of the app. We found that helped a bit. We were
successfully using it for netflows from more than 100Mbps, so I
your input.

Well if they had said it was a DOS attack I wouldn't expect an ETA.
When all they say is that they're having issues, I expect some form of
