Ahh I see. I suppose nothing that would be physically similar looking to a
standard nixie display with layers of cutout digits as cathodes

the closet to a green nixie tube is a thyratron display tube
Good day, everyone.
I'm wondering, do green Nixie digital display tubes exist? From what I
understand, the color of the discharge depends on the vacuum and type of
gas but I've not seen any images showcasing one with a green color. Is
there such a thing?

Good day, everyone.
I'm just getting into the subject of Nixie tube making. I have gotten to
work with some new old stock nixies and some de-soldered miniature digit
tubes and now I'm curious about the process of manufacturing my own. I
found the Dalibor Farni channel
The battery backs up the time, not the settings. If you lose power you have to
reset the 12/24 hour display mode, auto shutoff and background color settings.

I never heard about acid traps... isolated copper islands, acute angles...
very interesting...

Dan, I need to disagree with you on several counts. It's an .062 board and
the vias are small. Plenty of space between D+ & D- and the ground plane,
at least 10 mils. It's likely just a 2 layer board, but as someone who
spent 25 years of my career designing PCBs, I find very little fault with
Robert -- I haven't installed a battery yet. Does the battery back up the
time and settings?
Yes setting the time and backlight is rather twisted.

Not quite what I said. At the top end of the condition range, by 'a few
tens of dollars' I was indicating something in the $20 - $50 region
depending on the specifics of the particular tube and market appetite at
that time. G10/241E is not a common tube, but it's also not a real rarity.
ok thanks so a mint tube would only cost 5-10$?

intact.

Primarily a tube collector item I'd suggest. They're fiddly to drive and
the display is much less visually striking than other dekatron types, so
there's not a lot one can do with them in the direction of a clock or
similar. And then there's the question of condition - many G10/241E don't
work
