Yes, it's certainly not the simple and straightforward venture I thought it
would be! It has been quite humbling. I have some other neat projects I am
working on too - a Geiger counter with a nixie display and a ham radio with
a magic eye for tuning. Will be a few months before those two are up
We use embedded development tools where I work and they always have new
plugins based around all the lastest USB IP (usually the latest next
generation straight outta ACM and IEEE research). It's totally non trivial
4 sure! There's a LOT more to newer USB like USB type-C than I ever would

I have before, yep. That's a beast of a roll. Tried and true technology. I
have begun moving away from the use of ribbon cables because cross-talk has
bitten me a couple of times. I have been learning to write my own USB
drivers, though it's still very much a work in progress.
