I think the FLW design is also multiplexed as opposed to direct drive. That
could very well have something to do with the flickering. Is there any way
to tweak the switching frequency of the mux or is it fixed?

Well Jens, maybe not $50, but if I wanted to sell them I would also try to
be reasonable... the time value of money is also important right? $100 today
is worth more than $100 1 year from today, inflation aside.

number for a different first name that I thought was related to him and
called it... he answered the phone. We talked a while he told me he'd
build a clock without tubes for me for the kickstarter price. He also I've
