The simplest way is probably to use the "exec" or (better) "extend"
directive to set up the appropriate ping request, and walk the
UCD-SNMP-MIB:

IMO, this module implementation is fundamentally flawed, and I
would prefer that it wasn't distributed with the Net-SNMP code
