I think there's a lot of this going on. I used to be with a (UK-based)
web host called Blackfoot, which got taken over a couple of years ago by
another one called Krystal. Krystal are fine, offer a good level of
service, answer your queries promptly, etc.; but earlier this year they

are still some companies like earthlight.co.nz who are happy to cater
for us little folk :)
