Thank Glenn, glad to hear that works. I'll work on getting Jakarta EE

Hi Glenn,
Thanks for the feedback. There is an issue right now when you have a
server pre-selected, I believe, and I'll have to fix that. You should be
able to create a New Maven Web Application with the Jakarta EE 8 option if
you select no server for now.
Thanks again!

Hi Geertjan,
It should be working with GlassFish 5.1.0. However, I just tested and
Jakarta EE 8 is not showing up with GlassFish 5.1.0. I will need to debug
and repair that issue.
Thank you

You should be able to change an existing Java EE project to Jakarta EE by
right-clicking it and updating the project properties accordingly.
To create a new Jakarta EE 8 app, create a New Maven web project and select it.

Excellent work Neil...thanks!
With respect to Jakarta EE 8, the new features are:
- Ability to create a Jakarta EE 8 project
- Change an existing Maven web application to Jakarta EE 8.

Ah, I figured it out and assigned one to myself. For anyone interested in
adding assignments, I had to click on the "Volunteer" button in order to add a

Are there supposed to be samples of NetBeans Modules that are missing? If so,
does this warrant an issue in the tracker?

Hi Everyone,
I also have no issues with the profiler (ran through the same steps as
outlined by Alan) on OS X 10.13.5. I was part of the NetCAT for profiler
as well. I am leaning towards a Windows-specific issue perhaps.
