Sorry to dig this up again, but is there a way to catch failed
auto-connects? I thought I could use a dispatcher script, but it appears
they are not triggered on failed connections.

From the specifications it looks like your modem has a QMI interface.
I'm surprised ModemManager isn't using that. When ModemManager connects
to a QMI modem it uses a proxy, which allows multiple applications to
access the interface.

autoconnect flag set to "true", but I have to manually connect using nmcli.
Is there any way I can get it to autoconnect? This device is intended to
be headless with the network being the main method of communication.
