I'm experimenting with dipy and python3 but cannot see a python3-dipy in
neurodebian. Is there a specific reason for that? Is it because of the VTK
dependency?

Hi all,
Matlab2018a includes/requires a newer gcc than is included with Ubuntu 16.04.
Because matlab-support is made to workaround the reverse problem, Matlab will
not launch after configuring (<=1 dock bounce, then nothing).
After undoing the following library hacks done by matlab-support, norm
OK.
In the eternal quest of transitioning to python3 ;), dipy is one of the few
things that stops me and other colleagues. We stick with what Neurodebian
offers, in order to have a uniform and coherent envoronment. So yes, having
python3-dipy would be nice.
