All, It's time to end the philosophical discussion and get back to business. I tried clam av, avg, f-secure and norton- without success. I then did a format and complete reinstall- no good. It's still in my Gmail inbox. Please, HOW do I remove that Mexican virus??? Stuart (sorry) --

Format your hard drive and install a different operating system. Try this one: http://www.microsoft.com/WindowsMe/ - it will definitely remove the Mexican virus, and, as an added bonus, it will remove all your other files too! Margot, I did as you suggested but now I'm staring at a blue screen

Lyvim, I must look into that torrent thing and see how it works. My PCLinux has it installed but I've never studied it. I've given up on the Ulteo download now 'cos it's reached 40% five times now and then stopped. Be my guest #002 'tho it'll be a hard act to follow! Stuart
