I cleaned the carbs, they was a bit of gunk in them but after installation it made no difference, as I mantioned, the spark seems to be erratic and all the time, I thought it would be one good spark every now and then could this be the problem, and how do I trouble shoot this? --- On Tue,

okay, so i went outside in this scorching heat...and tried to adjust the idle speed... i 'think' i got the rpm's to go up about 3-500 RPM's to a grand total of 1000 rpm's with the choke OPEN...but... however, i don't think it's going to be as easy as turning the adjustment screw...it seems the

If I don't ride my 83 650 Nighthawk for a few days, something happens with the shifter When you fully pull back the lever, it does not completely disengage. It will go into first OK to get going, but then it shifts very hard for a few minutes, then it goes back to where it is supposed to be
