putting down too much power. You find a machine with the right HP for that
track, plus add low weight and easy maneuverability and you're golden.

in either direction. Many farmers getting on and off the road with loose
gravel on turns sometimes. Always use caution on that road, many taken to
the hospital, all motorcyle's included. 851 is another road worth
not a problem, i get off work at 2ish, and can look at it almost any time
after that
NSB is just south of daytona beach if that helps you at all

I just bought a 83 650cc Nighthawk, and one of the issues the former
owner had is it wouldn't start. I put a new battery in it, and you can
jump the starter, it will turn over but not start. In fact, when the
key is turned on, there is nothing, no lights, starter or nothing.

I'd start with the basics and check the fuses. Those bikes are also known
for the plugs on the back of the fuseblock not making good contact . If
wiggling them makes it kick then cleaning them wouldn't be a bad idea. A
service manual would probably be a good buy for you.

I had that problem from a pinched fuel line. Did the battery go dead? If not
then the stator and RR are good. To check the charging system put a volt meter
on the battery and rev to 5K RPK you should get at least 14 volts. If the
charging system is good then Check for a pinched fuel line,
Also try running with the choke on it was cold and she could have cooled off
too much.

Just checked the plugs and they were all loose. The mechanic never placed
them in all the way: they came off at the first thug. Now they are all the
way in. I can't believe I rode the thing with the plugs like that for
25-30miles. I will check it again tomorrow. If that's not the issue, I will

I got the Hawk out of storage yesterday, thinking it was a quick checklist -
install battery, check fluids tire pressure, ride home and change oil. But
