The gear indicator switch isn't impossible to clean, actually fairly
straight forward if you're patient. I took pics when I cleaned up the one

We had our little run this past Saturday and 2 guys got flats. One had a
pull through patch kit and air, the other did not. Seems to be a lot of
junk on the roads for what it's worth.
