When I'm getting ready to take a long ride, the "production" isn't that big
of a deal because you want to be prepared. But personally I find I don't do
long rides anymore. I'm really just wanting a bike I can hop on and ride.
Something "zippy!" :)

Hey Paul, after only having the Kawasaki Nomad for 3 weeks I get what you
mean about just wanting to get on the bike and go. The Nomad is nice, but
it does feel like more of a production to get ready and ride the bike. I
rode my Nighthawk the other day and after riding the Nomad for the last 2
I know you didn't keep it long, but that Magna you had should have felt
zippy. I get on my V30 when I want to feel like I'm a hot rodder.

So a college kid near me bought a 1992 Blue 750 from the original owner and
then parked it. That was in May. It's not running and the registration is

college to me.
I saw it briefly yesterday. He told me where it as
Thanks Javier,
When I went by the guy didn't know I was there. It's parked in an
apartment complex where I could go look at it. I didn't want him to know I
was there or cause any problem. I didn't look at the Vin plate but will
when I go to look today. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy
They started he black engine in 1996 with Javier's bike.

Hey Sean,
I am not sure which year started with the black engine, but my 750 is 96
and has it black. Allen's 750 was a 92 if I remember correctly and had
silver paint. The serial plate should say the year as well. Did you check
that?
Tires and battery are too other items that usually need
Sean, if it's the original blue, then it is a pre- 196 model. They only made

Hi Bart, did you check the main fuse near the battery? If that one goes bad
it kills everything. Also as Graham suggested, check the battery.
Javier.

Hi guys. I started my 93 750 NH, it ran for a few seconds and stopped. Not
unusual for cold weather. I turned it over for a few more seconds, I heard
a click (I thought was starter related) and then all the instrument lights
went out as though I had turned the key off. After that I couldn't get
Also, my engine is aluminum colored, no paint even on the side covers. I'd
suspect either a paint attempt or a head swap.
