I'm always amazed at how clean and rust free bikes on the mainland are
versus Hawaii. It doesn't matter how often you was and polish your bike
here. They rust. I have friends with expensive custom bikes covered with
chrome - they spend amazing amounts of time keeping them rust free. A 93
we used to spray LPS 3 on everything when we lived on Guam. That slowed the
rust down. Haven't seen that stuff here on the mainland, Graham
