That's correct. All backrest/sissy bars for the 750, including the aftermarkets, require inch-and-a-half notches be cut into the sides of the rear cowl to accommodate the bar's built-in mounting brackets. Once installed, though, the brackets cover the holes, so they're not visible so long as
