I don't know about the forums or the Harley dealerships around here (Winston-Salem, NC), but the local used shop that deals with a lot of Harleys has always been good and had nice folks around. They're also willing to work with you on price when dealing in cash. I think I got my Icon Field Armor

I actually do know 2 real bikers who choose to ride HD. They can appreciate other bikes, and they admit that HD are inferior in most respects. But they like the customization aspect, and after market parts availability. Plus they belong to a club and an HD is the price of admission. Cool guys

Now that I'm back home I should probably tell you all why I needed a phone holder. With no gauge lights its difficult to tell how fast one is going at night. The plan was to use the GPS in the phone for this. Luckily the best buy I stopped at had one for hamdlebars. Stuck it on and worked fine so
