[Nighthawk Lovers] Just purchased my first Nighthawk 650 - 1986

Hi All, I’m delighted I found this group. Just purchased a 1986 Nighthawk 650. Bike was in storage for 10 years and started first time with a quick carb flush and a new battery. Needs new tyres, fluids etc. Looking forward to getting it back on the road. Any tips greatly welcomed? Liam --

Ahhh me pore dead grandmother (and most of the rest of my ancestors) were from Ireland, but I spit in a tube and the DNA said I'm mostly scandinavian ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Anyways, common issues to look for on the 80s 650 are the timing chain slap (the tensioner spring goes limp after so many years). Also
