[Nighthawk Lovers] How to reinstall airbox boots on 1983 Nighthawk 650

So I just purchased a 1983 NH 650 that has sat for a few years. In the process of removing the carbs to clean them, the air boots pulled loose from the airbox. That is just as well because I needed to clean the airbox and epoxy a split seem. But know I am wondering how to reinstall the air

I am about ready to give up. Need help! Does anyone from this group lives near NYC (South Brooklyn in particular) - I just need a little hand holding with this bike. Or if there are any good mechanics around that I can talk to. It's all about the carbs. It started with a small leak and had
