So I just purchased a 1983 NH 650 that has sat for a few years. In the
process of removing the carbs to clean them, the air boots pulled loose
from the airbox. That is just as well because I needed to clean the airbox
and epoxy a split seem. But know I am wondering how to reinstall the air
Does anyone know what the U-shaped "hangers" on the airbox boots are for?
See pic below. Also, when reinstalling the boots, should I use adhesive?
