I upgraded the front calipers on my 02 Monte Carlo to F-Body (Camaro) brakes
several years ago. They are dual piston vs the OEM single piston model.
Basically, increasing the the piston size, or number of them translates to
firmer faster breaking as the fluid can be displaced faster and easier.
Interesting... I would have thought pressure is pressure and they would be
even...

There ya go! At first, I suspected this might have been an upgrade of sorts.
Larger pistons should translate to a more responsive front brake in theory but
not if only on of them was replaced and may have made it worse because the
system was not balanced. Any chance you have the old pads? I susp
