I have been hunting to find something 'better' to replace my o'l WRT54Gv5 router with. I tried to change the WEP key to WPA and it won't let me. I at least tried to update the key string and it won't let me. Since I am not sharing our 'new' internet connection and I got rid of some old WEP only

Yes, any N router that'll run dd-wrt : http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/Supported_Devices_802.11n , don't spend too much on it. I just toss mine when they start misbehaving too frequently, although I think dd-wrt has a watchdog feature where it'll automatically reboot itself if it can't

Thanks guys. I now have a little Linksys WRT610N that Sabuj suggested. It is cheap so I am shooting craps with it. I have a Ubiquiti Airrouter, but it seems to have some radio problem. I really like the Ubiquiti routers and firmware, but their 'consumer grade' stuff seems to not hold up like
