states and NPSO collect more informative data; and that the DOL data reflects
the data from Harris polls.I wonder how the DOL classifies institutions,
whether per their definition this includes community-based living situations,
e.g., supported
I totally agree and we all have Richard Horne, the director of RE at ODEP, to
thank for it finally happening. He has been working on this issue prior to the
Clinton executive order -- in fact he probably helped write the exec order! It
has been a long haul but he did not give up.
There is a very recent and informative article on the employment rate
for people with disabilities. It answers several questions on
measuring employment and unemployment, also addressed in the DOL
study. It is easier to digest than the DOL review.
