I am trying to build a simulation for adhoc networks with antenna
capable of tuning on to a set of frequencies.
I was just wondering whether NS has any support for multiple frequency
channels in terms of Physical layer or Mac layer.

do you work under linux or windows to run awk utility...?
Your awk code is correct, just write the following command on linux:
awk -f fil2.awk out.tr 1.txt
you will get like the attach file .. it work well.
