I have installed VM-WARE on my pc. Now I am installing ns-2.34 ,but during
installation some error is coming which I am attaching in my mail.
Can any body help me regarding this. I am just a new in ns2 field.

I am trying to install the NS 2 (version 2.29) in fedora 8. Then i got the

you must install a (more) complete Cygwin to solve this.
But a better better way to use NS-2 in Windows is install it on a
Virtual Machine with Linux.
I use virtualbox (virtualbox.org)
Ubuntu 8.10 32-bit (ubuntu.com)

I am trying to install an older version of ns-2(ns-2.1b8) on cygwin
