Hello,
If I execute cancel to a timer, which event is removed from the list, the
next event from that timer? Is it the same list for all the nodes or
differentiates each node?
Thank you in advance
Hi
What is the time taken by a control packet to reach its neighbor in
ns2 How can we know that ?
When I tried to find this time through simulation, the times are
varying too rapidly from simulation to simulation... I used 250m as the
transmission range...
Thanks in advance

Dear sir,
i am doing my project in wireless adhoc networks using ns2..i hav some basic
doubts regarding adhoc scenario in aodv..
(1) In any wireless adhoc scenario, the neighboring nodes are decided based
on transmission range right...then, i face a problem stated below..
consider 4 nodes (n1,n

channel quality, depending upon the channel throughput , i have to assign

hello
how are we going to generate a unit graph in ns2??if anyone has any idea then
please tell me...(in which wireless mobile nodes which are in each other`s
range are shown to be connected )
thanks

Hello all,
I am doing a project in wireless network in ns2. I
tried setting color of the wireless node using the
following command,
In C++,
sprintf(d,"$ns_ at \"$node_(%d) add-mark m1 blue
circle\"",src);
tcldc.eval(d);
In tcl,
$node_(0) set color "blue"
But color change is not shown in nam.
Dear all,
Now my problem is that I have to design mac-802.11 such that for a particular
node or for some specific nodes it will not forward a packet. I mean, suppose I
want to design "node 24" as malicious by rewriting the mac-802.11 protocol such
that only for this particular node the protocol wi
Dear all:
I patched ns-eurane-111.diff.gz(UMTS) for clean ns-2.28.
Then I want to see how a mobile node handoff from 802.11 to UMTS (on sctp).
But I am not familiar with UMTS system .So I have no idea to integrate
802.11 and UMTS.My topology is as following:

Hi,
How to draw graph in ns2.
Can anyone give some idea reagarding this.
How to give input for the graph?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,all:
I wondered if there is anyone who ever tested the full-traffic flows in
NS2 (i.e: given n nodes in the network, there are n*(n-1)/2 traffic
flows running in simulation, which means that there is traffic flow for
any two distinct nodes in the network)... I tried it these days and
