node 3 was still up and active in the network.
Could anyone tell me what the problem is and the command i need to use to
simulate a node or even a link failure ( if possible ) in a wireless
scenario?
Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated,
Thank you,

Hello Daniel,
Thank you, but you didnt say why the solution of simulating a complete
node failure wouldn't work.
I understand that shutting down links is not an option since links don't
exist like i supposed but shouldn't i be able to shut down a node in
wireless like i do in wired scenarios figu
Hi all,
Thank you for answering but i tried the
$ns_ at 60.0 "$node_(0) off"
command which gave me the segment fault error, i then added the
energymodel to the node and here's what i get when i try running the
simulation:
ns: _o17 reset-state:
(_o17 cmd line 1)
invoked from within
"_o17
$ns_ at 60.0 "$node_(0) off" now works but i still can see packets being
sent (and received) from node 0 after it was shutdown in the trace file...
Any ideas?
Greats,
Patrick
