[ns] simulation time of DSDV
Hi dear friends I wrote a scenario in wsn with 30 mobile nodes and 20 static nodes. I run this tcl file with AODV , AOMDV and DSR, it was true. But when I changed the routing protocol to DSDV it doesn't show its nam , I try it for 4 hours but it didn't work without showing any error. Is the run time of DSDV very long? Best regards.
[ns] simulation time
Hello List, I have a problem when I run one simulation of approximately 60 second ones. after approximately 25 second ones, the system jams. on what it can depend? It probably can be legacy to RAM of small dimensions? Help me and thank you
[ns] simulation time in WiMax
Hi all I have a problem when running WiMax tcl code in ns2. The simulation time is more than 10 seconds and if there is traffic starts after 10s it does not appear in the trace file. If any body has an answer please I need a reply as soon as possible. Thank you - Ahhh...imagining that irresistible "new car" smell? Check outnew cars at Yahoo! Autos.
[ns] Simulation Time
Dear All I am developing a routing protocol and i would like to know how long should i simulate it in order to get dependable results. I have 50 nodes in my network in an area of 1000*1000 with a transmission range 250 m. Should the experiment be repeated and the results averaged. if yes How many times should the experiment be repeated. Any idea would be appreciated. I appreciate your response and help Thank you
[ns] simulation time / actual time ratio
Hello, When I run the "ns abc.tcl" command, the simulation time is not the same as the actual time. How do I make this ratio 1:1? I am not interested in the nam trace file and I donot want to use emulation and hence cant use "RealTime". Regards, Sagar Do you Yahoo!? Everyone is raving about the all-new Yahoo! Re: [ns] simulation time in ns-2
Happened with my simulations too. I ran the simulations for 100 seconds. I left out the 5 seconds at both ends of the simulation and results are consistent. If you like to know the values in a steady state you sould run the simulation for at least several minutes. Especially in the first few seconds you can experience several strange effects. Something I often see is a storm of ARP packets at the beginning of a simulation because all stations start to communicate at about the same time. So, it is sometimes better to discard the results from the first seconds. Daniel. -- Dipl.-Inf. [ns] simulation time in ns-2
Hello everyone!! I have a question regarding simulation time in ns-2 I am using ns-2.27 version and i have noticed that the calculated throughput in my wireless scenario changes as the simulation time increases. What simulation time should i set to my tcl script in order to get accurate throughput results? Any point or hint is extremely welcomed Thanks for your attention!!! Regards, Michael - Χρησιμοποιείτε Yahoo! Βαρεθήκατε τα ενοχλητικά μηνύ ματα (spam); Το Yahoo!
