AW: [nsbasic-ce] Can't open my old projects with NSBasic v 8.01

2009-06-11 Thread Bernd Sommer
Hi George,

I described the problem and my solution - with your help - in an e-mail sent
solely to you just a few seconds before I received this e-mail.

It's the .nsp file that is the problem.

The .nsp file contains paths to the modules. If the modules can't be found,
you get this message. The easiest solution (especially if you do not have
any modules) is the simply delete the .nsp file and open your project again.
If you do have modules, you will need to add the modules in again.

You could also edit the .nsp file in NotePad.

We made some improvements to this in NS Basic/CE 8 - the paths are now saved
as relative, rather than absolute paths.

I always receive the message:
File not found, bad .nsp file or serial number not entered.

File is there, because I doubleclicked it to open.
nsp file is there?
Serial number was entered.

Any suggestions?

Rolf

AW: [nsbasic-ce] Can't open my old projects with NSBasic v 8.01

2009-06-11 Thread Bernd Sommer
I changed design and code a bit. Got an error with F5 and F6.
Then I saved the .nsb - file. Now I could transfer the program. F5 and F6
performed fine.

AW: [nsbasic-ce] Windows Mobile 6.1

2008-11-28 Thread Bernd Sommer
I do own a HTC Touch Pro.
My two tiny programs I developed with nsbasic are downloadable from my
website www.bsommer.de.
I downloaded them. Installation worked fine. Today no problems with running
the programs.
A few days ago there were error messages when I quit the programs. Do not
remember if it was an exit button or x and what the message was. Looked like
an error in basic.exe. Today I wanted to tell you and I do not see the error
message again. Maybe I installed a newer verion of basic.exe.

So please, tell me what you need.
Regards

Bernd

Who here has Windows Mobile 6.1 devices?

We are getting some inconsistant results and would like to run some tests on
different devices to see what is going on. Everything works fine for us, but
a user in Germany is reporting an error.
