If I was a Blackburn fan I might look at it like this:

* We've only won three away all season.
*   We haven't won away since 2010.
* We've let in more goals on the road than any other team in the
league
* We've had an awful season, sacking a proven manager and replacing
him with a muppet
*   Samba is injured
* Or as one Blackburn fan says: Actually, this is a must win game.
Can we win it? Very very unlikely. The die was cast in December as i've
said before. The club is disastrously managed at all levels now and the
outcome is inevitable.
* BUT we are playing Wolves!

There were some rumours that Arry doesn't want to get into the Europa as he

if they lose through Fair Play, although that would mean more qualifaciton

Is anyone getting up to watch it unfold live, or are you all risking that log

I'll be on hols in Port Macquarie (yes I know it's bad timing) and I doubt
that we'll have pay TV. but if we do.

I have to say that I am very very confident that Wolverhampton Wanderers
will be playing Premier League Football in the 11/12 season.

That should make you all rush out and put big money on us being relegated!

He should be listening to all fans, because to put it plain and simple we are
not going anywhere while Macarthy is in charge of the team.

You can't tell me, anyone is happy going through this hell every year? Quite
frankly we are lucky to be still in the mix.

I'm sure a successful businessman like Morgan will be strongly influenced by
the opinion of some bloke from Australia that he's never heard of.

Re: [NSWolves] [sec=unclassified]

2011-05-16 Thread Steven Millward
It's been the most enjoyable footballing season of my life. We've beaten
some good teams, played some nice stuff, seen a lot of rubbish and have had
a very exciting relegation battle.

There's no chance of an acheivement at the top end of the table so we might
as well have some fun at the bottom. We're only a few points of being a mid
table team. I'ts been very tight this year. A few errors that cost us
points have made the difference but with a few new players next season we
have the makings of a good side. You can't blame Mick for Zubar's silly
backpass for example.

I think the team has progressed. Most other seasons we'd have been safe by
now.

I come back to the debate of manager vs players. Is Mick really to blame?
If he's so bad at picking a team how come we beat so many big teams?

RE: [NSWolves] [sec=unclassified]

2011-05-16 Thread Morris, Lee SGT
I'm not so easily satisfied.

At times we have been absolutely terrible this year, and certainly no better
than last. . I can't explain how we have done well against the top teams, yet
crumble so badly against poorer opposition. I hope come 3am on Monday morning
the few big wins have been enough, because its the losses against lower teams
that have cost us..

Macarthy failed to patch up the side sufficiently pre season, we all new our
defence wasn't up to the task, and that has proved the case time and again. Its
taken him until we were absolutely desperate for results to make changes that
have worked (Bringing Fletcher in, dropping Berra)..and god knows what
he'll do on Sunday now Doyle is fit??

He's a nice Guy and its natural to have some loyalty towards a man who got us
promoted and kept us up, but I just don't see too much on field progress.
